Fall Cemetery Cleanup
It is time for fall cleanup at St. Mary's & St. Alphonsus Cemeteries.
Please take a look at your family plot and make sure that there is nothing there that you want to keep for another year. On or about November 1st we will be preparing the cemetery for winter and in the case of St. Alphonsus, closing the cemetery for the winter. The Cemetery Committee would like to thank all of you who have so faithfully followed the rules and regulations.
There are still a few who need to be reminded that the rules and regulations are in place for the safety of our visitors and workers. The cemetery is sacred ground and should be treated as such. Its appearance reflect our Catholic Christian Traditions!
If you are unsure what is permitted and what
is not, you may wish to call St. Mary’s Rectory 792-0989 (Ext. 26) to request a copy of the rules and regulations so you will be ready for 2013.
The rules and regulations pertain to both St. Mary’s and St. Alphonsus
Cemetery with minor exceptions. Please note pumpkins are NOT permitted and will be removed, they encourage animals to become a nuisance in the cemetery.
