The LIGHT SHINES in the darkness, and the darkness HAS NOT OVERCOME IT.

families in our Parish.

PICK UP TIMES:

December 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

December 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Simply drive up to the front of St. Mary's Church during any one of these times, and someone will safely hand you a kit.  You won't even need to exit your vehicle!

We are asking that you light the luminary on Christmas Eve, and place it on your front steps.   Then, upload or share your pictures or video to our Facebook page, and share

YOUR Light of Christ with our community!

What is a LUMINARY?

A luminary is a small paper lantern which is used at Christmas time by the Hispanic culture.  It is used on Christmas Eve, and are placed outdoors on that night as a reminder that Christ, our Light, has come into the world.  It is also a reminder that the light of Christ lives in the home of the user who wants to share that Light with all who see it.
